My name is Megan Darlington. Based in San Antonio by way of Metro Detroit, I’ve been an accomplished Graphic Designer and Marketer since 2017. Most of my experience stems from in-house marketing positions, or the occasional freelance project. As a Designer my strong suits and favorite projects focus on branding, logo design, typeface manipulation, and as of late, fun and catchy copy writing. I try not to take myself too seriously, and I seriously love what I do.
I make it a point to discover new artists in my profession, design techniques and perspectives as the design scene is ever-changing. Stagnation equals degradation. My influences have been Paula Scher, Louise Fili and Chip Kidd to name a few. I frequently reference my college text books for inspiration from the classics. I might as well, I paid good money for them!
​When I'm not flexing my creative muscles, I'm helping my hubby renovate our home, sewing, painting, gardening, or playing with our menagerie of fur children. I'm slightly outdoors-y, love a good outdoor excursion as long as I don't sweat too much. I love Ted Talks and comedy radio, laughter and knowledge are good for the soul. I'm fond of baking, and everything mid century modern.
